As many companies seek to corral remote workers back to onsite working in 2023, Americans are increasingly looking elsewhere for remote working opportunities.
Forbes put together a list of the best U.S. metro areas for remote workers looking to relocate and Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington tied with Wichita, Kansas for the No. 15 slot. Only one other Texas metro area reached the top 15; the San Antonio-New Braunfels area landed at No. 6.
Information regarding the benefits of working in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is something large companies will want to have printing services include in their promotional material to help them attract skilled employees.
According to the report:
"Remote work saves workers time and money on commuting and office clothing, while keeping their morale and productivity levels high.”
The new Forbes study considered 100 cities and metro areas in the U.S. and ranked them based on their internet access, remote worker earning potential, living costs, lifestyle amenities and worker friendliness among other factors.
Dallas scored particularly well at No.4, when it came to cities offering the best access to entertainment, arts and dining venues. No other Texas city made it into the top five when it came to entertainment access.
The No. 1 spot on the list of best location for remote working was awarded to the Miami-Fort Lauderdale-West Palm Beach area in Florida.
