Josh Ritter and The Royal City Band will be headlining a night in Austin early next month.
Ritter is both a solo artist and the frontman of the funk/Americana collective The Royal City Band, and is known for his tell-tale narrative lyrics. His latest album, "Spectral Lines," was released in April this year.
He has produced a notable body of work dating back over nearly a quarter of a century, including the acclaimed "Fever Breaks" in 2019, which NPR Music praised for its depth of emotion and insight. Beyond his musical pursuits, Ritter has achieved success as a nationally best-selling author, with two novels to his name – "The Great Glorious Goddamn of It All" (2021) and "Bright's Passage" (2011). His literary craftsmanship has earned admiration from critics, including a noteworthy endorsement from Stephen King in The New York Times Book Review.
Ticket prices will begin at $22.50 and are available for purchase through the event’s listing on the venue’s website.
Poster printing can be a helpful way to give attendees an introduction to the band members at events such as this one.
This event will take place on Sunday, October 1 at the Paramount Theatre. This is at 713 Congress Avenue, Austin. Doors will open at 7:00 pm, and the performance is set to begin an hour later.
