Fireworks and music will highlight Independence Day evening celebrations in Austin.
The Austin July 4th Concert and Fireworks is in its 47th year of presenting the celebratory party and there are plenty of viewing options at Vic Mathias Shores.
It's a free event but special ticket packages are available that provide an enhanced experience and extra benefits.
Shoreline access for the concert and fireworks is free general admission but can be upgraded to a package for $35 per person (free for age 10 and under) to include a designated area near the stage and shoreline, washrooms, nearby food trucks and a private bar.
The Lawn Access package at $75 per person provides visitors with hillside seating where they can bring their own blankets or chairs. The location offers access to the Long Center of Performing Arts lobby and washrooms, is close to the attending food trucks and offers better viewing. It includes a private bar and lawn games will be available.
The VIP option is for reserved tables of 10 people in the most premium viewing area where a family-style meal will be served. There is a private bar and an after party which includes snacks, drinks and music. A parking pass is also provided. The package is available with a $2500 donation to the symphony.
Banner printing is often advantageous for organizers and sponsors to help identify any designated areas.
Gates open at 4 pm with entertainment beginning at 5 pm and fireworks at 9:30 pm. Pets are not permitted in any of the VIP areas.
