The Outlaw Music Festival in Austin will be extra special this year as it will double to include Willie Nelson’s renowned Fourth of July picnic. The combined celebration will feature a huge lineup of top musicians.
Willie Nelson and family will headline the event and be joined by Sheryl Crow, Lucas Nelson, Rodney Crowell, Margo Price, Wilco and more. Also, unique to this Outlaw tour stop, Grammy award-winning bluegrass artist, Billie Strings will join the show.
Willie’s picnic dates back to the inaugural concert in Dripping Springs, Texas in 1973 and has since evolved to become an Austin tradition. The iconic concert event has attracted thousands of music lovers to gather under the Austin sky on Independence Day to hear some of the best American musicians from multiple genres.
The sounds of country, rock, folk, Americana and bluegrass music will all blend with the outlaw ideals that Willie Nelson has fostered for over six decades.
The outdoor concert venue has room for 14,000 ticket holders and boasts both a large grassy area and covered pavilion seating.
Attendees to the all-day music festival can enjoy food and beverages from outlaw village vendors. Businesses that cater to large crowds at events such as this often use poster printing to advertise their available products.
Austin will host the combined Outlaw Music Festival and Willie Nelson’s picnic on July 4, 2026, at the Germanic Insurance Amphitheater.
