The Lone Star Le Mans returns to Austin next month as the sixth race in the 2026 World Endurance Championship season.
Presented by Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), the race will feature elite global automobile manufacturers including Porsche, Ferrari, BMW, Peugeot and others.
FIA created the World Endurance Championship (WEC) in 2012, as a premier global long-distance series with races running from six to up to 24 hours.
The WEC has grown to become extremely popular, as evidenced by a record 14 race car brands competing this season. In addition, the FIA recently announced that the championship will feature nine rounds in the 2027 season as Silverstone in Great Britain returns to the schedule. Each year the race calendar also includes the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, one of sport’s most grueling tests.
In the upcoming Lone Star Le Mans, drivers will race for six hours on the 5.5 kilometer Circuit of the Americas track, which features 11 left turns and nine right turns.
Motor sport businesses that sponsor large races such as this often use banner printing to draw spectator attention to their products and services.
The FIA Lone Star Le Mans will be held September 4–6, 2026 at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin. Practice rounds and qualifying take place on the two days before the main event. Race fans can find more information on the World Endurance Championship website.
