Asian American film festival returns to Austin

Asian American stories will be told through the lens at the upcoming Austin Asian American Film Festival (AAAFF).

Returning for its 18th year, the unique festival will highlight the work of Asian and American, Pacific Islander and Hawaiian filmmakers.

As a distinguished arts organization, the AAAFF works to promote and enable these artists to take advantage of cinematic opportunities.

What began as a single event has blossomed into a successful non-profit organization that not only sponsors the annual festival but also holds year-round film screenings within the community. AAAFF collaborates with other North American film festival groups as well as educational programs in order to provide support and resources to established and emerging filmmakers.

For the upcoming festival, both single screening tickets and popular all-access badges will be available. Full event badge holders will receive priority access, allowing for prime theater seats, discounts on festival merchandise, discounts at area Asian American businesses, food perks and a swag bag of gifts.

Sponsoring businesses often include a variety of Promotional Products in event goodie Bags such as these.

The Austin Asian American Film Festival will be held from June 24 to 28, 2026 at AFS Cinema, 6259 Middle Fiskville Road. The final lineup of included films will be announced closer to the festival dates. Tickets and further information is available on the event website.
