Thousands of shoppers are expected at Le Garage Sale, a unique late-summer bargain-hunter’s dream event in Austin.
Le Garage Sale brings together avid shoppers and more than 100 vendors for two days of high energy sales. It's a twice-yearly popular event that has been held since 2001.
The participating vendors are independent retailers and designers who offer their end-of-season merchandise to eager shoppers looking for savings. After the sale, unsold inventory may be donated to local charities.
National and international retail chains are not included in the weekend sale, as the aim of the event is to support local community business. Home decor, plus clothing and accessories for men, women and children will be available from a wide variety of top independent boutiques and labels.
Patrons can take a break from perusing the sales racks to enjoy on-site snacks, coffee and cocktails, as well as musical entertainment.
