Princesses get muddy in Austin

Women have the fun opportunity to support each other in a special ‘Girl’s Day Out’ event in Austin. The Muddy Princess is a 5k obstacle mud run course and will take place in the fall. With 18-20 obstacles, the day is filled with crawling, sliding and climbing through the mud.

The event brings women together for unity in a fun, friendly manner. Regardless of age, shape, size, or fitness levels, the event welcomes everyone highlighting that each person is beautiful in her own unique way. Participants may run individually or form teams.

Muddy Princess is partnered with I Go Pink aligned with Breast Cancer Charities of America. The organization focuses on research and prevention of breast cancer as well as supporting women affected across U.S. communities.

Oftentimes signage is needed to help direct runners throughout the course. This can be handled by ordering banner printing from local Print shops. Banners are typically made of sturdy vinyl and can withstand weather elements.

Volunteers are needed to help the event run smoothly. They will help with registering participants and handing out swag Bags, offer water and perform other tasks as needed. Each volunteer will receive a Muddy Princess volunteer shirt, free entry to the event, free photos and the opportunity to inspire and cheer the runners on.

The Austin Muddy Princess will be held September 13 at Pioneer Farm. Register via the website.
