The Moontower Comedy Festival, cancelled in 2020, is returning to Austin in early spring. Typically, a four-day festival, it will now be divided into various weekends.
The festival was rescheduled twice in 2020 and then cancelled due to the pandemic. Organizers felt that comedy is needed more than ever right now, so transformed the normal four-day festival into three weekends for the 2021 festivities. This was designed to avoid yet another cancellation while observing safety protocols for attendees.
Badges purchased in 2020 can be transferred to this year’s event. In the case of not being able to attend, refunds can be issued or the purchaser can donate the badge back to the venue to protect the Paramount Theatre, the producer of the comedy festival.
Banner printing is often ordered to create highly visible signage for outdoor festivals. The Banners are made from sturdy vinyl and can be hung from post to post or across buildings to highlight key areas such as parking, concessions or seating.
Headliners scheduled for the fest include Nikki Glaser, Chris Fleming, Todd Barry, Joe List, Roy Wood, and many more well-known comics.
The 9th Annual Moontower Comedy Festival will take place on April 16 to 17, May 15 to 16, and June 25 to 26. Performances will be held at Stateside and Paramount Theatres. Details and ticket purchase options may be found via the event website.
