Major business networking event comes to Austin

The Small Business Expo, a large trade show and conference for owners and entrepreneurs, will make a stop in Austin next month.

Exhibitors who participate in conventions of this size often use local Print shops for their promotional materials.

Held in major cities in the US, the Small Business Expo offers attendees a one-stop venue for networking opportunities, workshops and access to many vendors displaying the latest products and services.

The Atlanta event includes a slate of guest speakers presenting information on topics including finance, web design, marketing, sales and public speaking. One of the keynote presentations will be Navigating the Waters of Entrepreneurship featuring businessman Jay Kriner from the show Shark Tank.

Kriner will share his insights and advice through humor and stories of his personal experiences, as well as those from Shark Tank where he successfully pitched a beverage-holding belt buckle. He will speak about accepting risk, learning from failures and staying positive. Other speakers will include successful CEOs, graphic designers, business coaches, and banking industry professionals.

In addition to guest speakers, the expo agenda includes specific industry meet-up sessions, multiple speed networking groups, and an end-of-day happy hour.

The Small Business Expo will be held Thursday, October 30 at the Palmer Events Center in Austin. The conference is free to attend. Further information, including registration details, is available on the event website.
