The stars will descend on Austin when the 25th annual film festival kicks off at the end of the month.
A few of the stars will be appearing on screen, while others will make in-person appearances at the festival.
All told, the film festival will have more than 20 world, US, and North American premieres. There will also be a retrospective screening series and several big-name, big-ticket marquee films.
Among the big ticket films are ‘Ben is Back’, which stars Julia Roberts and Lucas Hedges. Peter Hedges, the writer and director of the film, will make an appearance at the festival screening.
Gillian Flynn, the author of ‘Gone Girl’ has teamed up with director Steve McQueen for the film ‘Widows’. Actors Carey Mulligan and Jake Gyllenhaal will appear togethers in the film ‘Wildlife’.

The 25th annual film festival will move beyond feature length films and will premiere several shows made for the small screen. Francesca Delbanco and Nicholas Stoller, the creators of ‘Friends from College’ on Netflix will be in attendance for the show's season two premiere.
Jordan Horowitz, executive producer, and Justin Marks, show creator, will present the premiere of the second season of their show ‘Counterpart’, which stars J.K. Simmons.
