The singer and songwriter Mary Chapin Carpenter will be performing in Austin this June.
With popular songs such as “Passionate Kisses,” Carpenter has been recognized with multiple Grammy Awards and nominations, as well as CMA awards and two Academy awards. Additionally, she is one of 15 women to be brought into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.
During COVID-19, Carpenter remained creative and active, creating two albums in 2020. Her album, “The Dirt And The Stars,” which was made public in August of 2020, was well-received by listeners. In addition, she recorded her live album titled “One Night Lonely” at the Filene Center in Virginia. This album was also later a nominee for the “Best Folk Album” award in 2022.
Ticket costs for the event will be based on the seating area. Balcony seats are $39.50 to $49.50, orchestra seats are $65 to $85, and mezzanine seats cost $49.90 to $65. Paramount members are eligible for the pre-show cocktail hour.
