Book lovers unite this fall in Austin

The 24th Texas Book Festival will take place in a few months in Austin and will offer an array of activities for the book enthusiasts.

Over 50,000 attendees along with 300 authors participated in the event last year and with the growth of the festival, more can be expected this year.

The event is held near the Texas State Capitol in the downtown area and presents a weekend of book celebration. Family fun and live music is also on the agenda.

Kicking off this year’s festivities, the First Edition Literary Gala will be held the night before the festival at the Four Seasons Austin. Dignitaries, luminaries and supporters of culture and arts will be in attendance. Partial proceeds from the gala fund the Reading Rock Stars Literacy Program which provides resources for low-income schools by donating Books. Authors also visit the schools to share their encouragement and guidance making the students aware of the importance of reading books. Texas Public Library grants are also issued throughout the state.

Brochure printing can be used as a marketing tool for creating awareness and interest for festivals of this type. Local Print shops have graphic design artists on the team who can include the brand theme in the brochure as well as engaging text about the event or organization.

The book festival will take place October 26-27. More information can be found via the event website.
