The Hot Luck Fest is returning to Austin this spring.
The highly anticipated event was created by James Beard, James Moody, Aaron Franklin, and Mike Thelin. Each of these founders have a claim to fame in the culinary world.
The event takes place in cities across the globe and features chef-presented experiences using open pit cooking styles, along with popular music entertainment by a variety of performers. Hot Luck organizers have joined forces with Southern Smoke Foundation to focus on helping people in the food and cooking industry. Proceeds from the Hot Luck Festival will benefit the Southern Smoke Foundation with all related events moving forward.
Volunteers are needed to assist with this massive event. Whether working with people, assisting with the myriad tasks involved, or a food enthusiast, there is something for anyone wanting to become involved. Email volunteer@hotluckfest.com for more information or to sign up.
Vendors can work with local Print shops and specialists in preparing to participate in outdoor festivals. Business card printing is often an essential task so the vendors can distribute their contact information, creating interest and possibly generating future sales.
The 2021 Hot Luck Fest in Austin will take place over Memorial Day weekend, May 29 to 31, in various locations throughout the city. Tickets are on sale and may be purchased via the event website.
