Paramount and Stateside Theatres present the annual Elf Pub Run and Screening.
The route for this year's race is Paramount to the Easy Tiger on East 7th, and the event will include carolers, a burping competition, a snowball fight, and a costume competition where participants can flaunt their love of elf culture.
The costume contest will be held before the screening of the movie Elf, which was written by David Berenbaum and is a holiday comedy released in November 2003. The film's eponymous character, played by Will Ferrell, is a human who was raised by Santa's elves. He travels to New York City after finding out that his biological father lives there.
Tickets cost $37 for the pub Run and $11 for the film only. For an additional $72, those who want to go can upgrade to the VIP Holiday Hijinx package. The deal includes free beverages, free popcorn, reserved seating at the Paramount Theatre, and transportation to and from Easy Tiger on the party bus. Tickets for the Pub Run + Screening do not include food, but Easy Tiger will have food on sale.
Banner printing is one way organizers can provide directions and information to participants at events such as this.
The event will be on December 2022, and doors will open at 7:00 pm. It will be at the Paramount Theatre at 713 Congress Avenue, Austin, Texas 78701. Visit the venue’s website for more information or to purchase tickets.
