Auditorium Shores presents the 2022 Austin Urban Music Festival in early September.
For over 10 years, Urban Music Fest has been celebrating R&B, indie soul, jazz, and gospel music. The festival also educates youth from 12 to 21 years old about the music industry and showcases unsigned and local artists. The festival was not held in 2020 or 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s staging of the Urban Music Festival will expand its focus to include aspects of African culture.
The two-day festival will feature live performances from artists like Lyfe Jennings, Chrisette Michele, Stokley, Sunshine Anderson, Ying Yang Twins, and Don Diego. However, emphasis will be placed on ethnic food, dance, visual arts, clothing, and spoken word. Those interested in attending will take part in appreciating the impact African culture has had on the world, and particularly on Atlanta. Tickets are on sale and start at $75 for early bird access.
Poster printing is an effective and affordable way for businesses and organizers to provide information about a service, product, or event such as this.
Austin Urban Music Fest will take place on Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4. It will be held at Vic Mathias Shores at 920 East Riverside Drive in Austin, Texas 78704. Visit the event website for more information or to purchase tickets for the weekend.
