Architectural event to be held in Austin

The Austin Foundation for Architecture (AFA) will host an architectural showcase and seminar this November.

The event is Design Talks, which aims to highlight the work of talented designers across various fields. Each month, it collaborates with a different design organization, and for November, the partner will be the National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA) of Central Texas. The mission of NOMA, Central Texas is to support and elevate under-represented individuals in the fields of architecture, among others, aligning with the legacy of NOMA's founding members.

The session will be led by Sterling E. Stevens. The speaker transitioned from practicing architecture to professional photography and fine art in 2009. His interest in photography developed during his design studies in Texas and North Carolina. Stevens, who is based between San Antonio, Texas, and Raleigh, North Carolina, works extensively in the southern United States, collaborating with diverse clients to create dynamic portraits of environmental design.

The event will require a reservation. The cost for this will be $5, and may be booked through the event“s listing on the Eventbrite website.

Flyer printing can be a great help to reach a wider demographic for events such as this.

This event is scheduled for November 8 at Articulture Designs. The location is 6405 Menchaca Rd, Austin, Texas, and it is set to begin at 6pm.
