Niam Investments, a real estate fund manager based in Greenville, has recently signed an agreement with Choice Hotels International to build a Cambria Hotel in Spartanburg.
The new hotel will be 6 stories high and have 119 guest rooms. It will be located near several corporate headquarters in downtown Spartanburg, including JM Smith Corporation, Milliken & Company, and Denny’s as well as close to the largest BMW manufacturing facility in the world. Other attractions nearby the planned hotel are Ballet Spartanburg, the Spartanburg Art Museum, and the Spartanburg Little Theater.
Amenities at the Cambria Hotel will include a fitness center, multifunction meeting space, an outdoor swimming pool, and dining onsite offering local craft beer on tap, freshly made food, and small bites. Brochure printing can be used for providing more detailed information about hotels, their amenities, and pricing.
Vice President of upscale brands at Choice Hotels, Mark Shalala, said that his brand continues to expand in desirable markets, such as the Southeast, which has proven to be an ideal region for its growing portfolio of hotels. The Cambria Hotel Spartanburg will be one of many other such others in the state, including Mt. Pleasant, which opened last year, and more in the planning stages in Greenville, Summerville, and Fort Mill.
The hotel is scheduled to open in the summer of 2020.
