Spartanburg to host gala

BRUH Mentor will be hosting its Sneaker Ball Gala in Spartanburg later this month.

Over 20,000 youth have been served by Brothers Restoring Urban Hope (BRUH) Inc. since 2005. Highlighting the achievements within the organization and celebrating the mentors that are part of their mission is the purpose of the Sneaker Ball. These successes from the organization’s many supporters and volunteers who give their resources, money, and time to support the mentoring program will, be featured at the Sneaker Ball.

BRUH operates on a foundational belief that every student, regardless of socioeconomic background, family circumstances, nationality, or previous setbacks, deserves an equal opportunity to build a promising future. Through its group mentoring programs, virtual workshops, leadership training sessions, and spiritual guidance, the organization supports young people in uncovering and honing their individual strengths. Participants are equipped to succeed academically and socially, while overcoming challenges that might otherwise hinder their path to becoming confident, productive, and actively engaged adults.

There will be art displays, a live band and performances, and presentations of community awards as well as a cash bar at the Sneaker Ball Gala. It will be held from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m. at the Chapman Cultural Center in Spartanburg on Saturday February 21.

Poster printing can be used to promote such special events and the achievements of the organizations they are celebrating.
