Smalls Sliders, a fast-food chain that specializes in cheeseburger sliders, is coming to Spartanburg.
Smalls Sliders opened its first location in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 2019. Its first location in the Palmetto State will be on WO Ezell Boulevard. The featured menu item of Smalls Sliders is its cheeseburger sliders, but also grilled cheese and fries made from russet potatoes and its special seasoning.
Last month, some residents of Spartanburg got a taste of the chain’s offerings as a mobile truck travelled throughout the city giving out free sliders. Such activities can be accompanied by flyer printing to provide more details about such upcoming eateries.
CEO of Smalls Sliders, Maria Rivera, said that Spartanburg was chosen for this location as the city has a diverse and vibrant economy and a business-friendly climate. She added that Spartanburg is ideal for showcasing its brand in the state and the company is looking forward to serving the community.
Rivera said that although this location is on the Westside, the eatery will be creating over 50 jobs to support the growth of businesses in the area and the local community. She added that the goal of Smalls Sliders is to enhance the position of Spartanburg as a lively destination for dining and create development of the community and the local economy.
Smalls Sliders is scheduled to open early next year.
