Vision Plan 2.0 has been introduced by OneSpartanburg for the county of Spartanburg. The plan includes 6 goals with 15 initiatives and aims to improve the county for both current and future residents.
Printing services of various kinds can be used to create Flyers, Booklets, and other materials with more information about such goals and initiatives.
One of the goals of the plan is to enhance the downtown area of Spartanburg by making it more friendly to pedestrians and creating more housing. Chief Economic Development Office of OneSpartanburg, Katherine O’Neill, said that an attractive downtown is important to the county, encouraging people to visit and relocate there, which in turn helps to increase its vibrancy for existing residents.
In addition, OneSpartanburg is looking to support and recruit more small businesses and those that are owned by minorities. Vice President of Strategic Communications for OneSpartanburg, Naomi Sargent, said that the goal is to change the trajectory of the development of small businesses, as their growth has not been the same as throughout the rest of the country. Sargent added that the creation of more jobs will mean that more public transportation options will need to be created so people can commute to and from work.
Vision Plan 2.0 needs to meet a fundraising goal of $6.3m. Sargent said that 54 percent of that goal has already been met.
