Two new markets are open for the season in Spartanburg.
Such markets often turn to poster printing to promote themselves throughout a community.
The Hub City Farmers’ Market is now opened in Spartanburg. Located at Northside Harvest Park, the Market will be celebrating its 16th season and will have products and vendors only from the Spartanburg area.
Heather Raines, Associate Director and Market Manager of the Market, said there will be close to 30 vendors who will be offering crafts, dairy, cheese, and meat, among other items. There will also be live music. The Market will run on Saturdays from 8 am to noon through Saturday December 11.
An art market will be held twice a month at FR8yard on E. Main St. in downtown Spartanburg. Featured at the Yard Bazaar will be vintage clothing, arts and crafts, and live music. There will be no charge for admission. The kitchen at FR8yard will be opened serving craft cocktails and beer and food specials. There will be raffles at each event whose profits will benefit a local charity. This month’s charity is Partners for Active Living.
The market will be held twice a month on the first and third Saturdays opening at 11 am and closing at 4 pm. The next market will be on Saturday April 17 and feature Roy Smith and The Millwrites.
