Spartanburg county prepares for high school gradations

Several graduation ceremonies will be held later this month and next month at a number of school districts in Spartanburg County.

Poster printing can be used throughout the county to inform students, faculty, staff, and parents of such celebrations.

Chapman and Landrum high schools in Spartanburg School District One will be holding their graduation ceremonies on their respective football fields. Landrum will have its ceremonies at 8:00 pm on Thursday May 28, while Chapman will have theirs the same day at 6:00 pm.

Officials from the district expressed their thankfulness to Governor McMaster in allowing school districts to conduct these ceremonies. They added that only the seniors and school staff will be able to attend the ceremony.

In District Seven, Spartanburg High School will be holding its graduation ceremonies in Viking Stadium for the first time. Each member of the senior class will receive two tickets for family members. The graduation will be held beginning at 9:00 am on Saturday, May 30 and will be live streamed on YouTube. In District Two, the ceremonies for Boiling Springs High School will be at Bulldog Stadium on Friday, May 29 while those for Chesnee High School will take place at the school’s football stadium on Thursday, May 28.

All remaining districts, except District Four which is still in the planning phase will be holding their ceremonies at the high school’s football fields or in stadiums.
