The Woman's Mentorship Symposium, presented by the PA Commission for Women, is being held this month in Pittsburgh. This year's theme is "Paying it Forward."
The event, which is already sold out, will feature lunch, workshops, and speed networking sessions. The keynote speaker for the lunch will be Lori Greiner, who has appeared on TV's ‘The Shark Tank’.
In addition, the winner of the National Association of Women Business Owners' (NAWBO) business plan competition will be announced. The contest was open to female business owners who started their company after January of 2012. Three finalists from the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and NA chapters of NAWBO will be on hand and a panel of judges will choose the winner, who will receive $10,000. All three will receive memberships to NAWBO.
It is likely this event will be widely advertised in the Pittsburgh area. Organizers may decide to contact local Print companies for help designing and printing marketing materials such as Flyers and Posters. Those planning to attend may also have invested in business card printing from the same companies.
The Women's Mentorship Symposium is taking place at the Westin Convention Center Hotel on September 30 from 8:00 am - 1:30 pm.
