Vegan soup can be a real taste treat, and a Pittsburgh cook off will soon be crowning the city’s souper champ.
The 5th Annual Best Vegan Soup in the ‘Burgh Cook-Off will once again be showcasing just how tasty going cruelty free can be. Helltown Brewing, located in the Strip District, will be providing space for the occasion, and it will add a touch of warmth to a cold February day.
The chefs that go head to head will each make a vegan recipe for the crowd to sample, and they can then choose their top taste. There will be unlimited tastings, and everyone will receive their ballot so they can vote. Snacks will be supplied, and an open bar will be on site as well. Music and other entertainment will add even more fun, and discounted early bird tickets will be available until January 31st.
