Pittsburgh to welcome return of pop-up markets

The pleasant days of May can be perfect for browsing at an outdoor pop-up market. One of these activities is on the way to Pittsburgh, and has been planned with moms in mind.

The Neighborhood Flea taking place at 2875 Railroad Street in mid-May will kick off the season the flea market season with a Mother’s Day edition. It will be open to the public for five hours, and at least 100 sellers will be on hand to welcome the crowd.

The function will be filled with a wide assortment of vintage goods, and handmade items will also be in the mix. Products ranging from toiletries to pet toys will be on offer to the buyers, and an assortment of local service providers have also booked a space. Food may be purchased on site, and a live DJ will supply the musical entertainment for the occasion.

The first installment of the yearly Neighborhood Flea initiative is scheduled to open its gates at 10:00 am on May 14. Everyone is encouraged to stop by and treat mom to something special.
