Pittsburgh’s bird nerds may want to save the date for a special event that will be all about the relationship between people and their fine feathered friends.
The next OHPA Bird Fair will help to kick off spring, and it will have plenty on offer for the avian enthusiast. Breeders and rehoming groups will have everything from tiny finches, parrotlets and budgies, to huge macaws, making it a place to find a new feathered member of the family.
As well as the live birds, the attendees at the function will have a chance to browse through some of the latest pet care products. Cages, games, indoor and outdoor aviaries will all be included, and bulk food and treats will also be on offer. It is expected that vendors will be coming in from at least five states, and as registrations are still being accepted, it is hoped that the list of participating companies will continue to grow.
Booking space in this sort of function can be a wise business move for bird-friendly companies. If they have Business Cards and other materials at the ready, it will be easy for them to share their contact information with interested customers.
The OHPA Bird Fair will be setting up shop at the Garden City Banquet Hall on April 11. More details for both vendors and the general public are available on the organizer’s website.
