Thanks to a local not-for-profit group, Pittsburgh adults will be able to get in on the fun of a summer camp, showing that this type of break is not just for kids.
The National Aviary has organized a summer camp experience for adults only. Campers will be given a sneak peek into how the venue cares for its over 500 birds and other animals that call the venue home, and tickets are $150.
The activity will see the attendees get a behind-the-scenes view of the facility, and they will be invited to help prepare enrichment for the birds. They will also be able to meet some of the Aviary’s animal ambassadors in person. Information about conservation efforts around the globe will be shared, and participants will be treated to a packed lunch to enjoy. The meal will be prepared by Atria’s.
Environmentally focused not-for-profit organizations offer a way to give Mother Nature a helping hand. A brochure printing company can be tasked with preparing a variety of learning and marketing materials for an organized event.
The National Aviary will be offering its Summer Camp for Adults session in August. There are two dates on the agenda, which are August 10 and August 17, both of which are Saturdays. Both sessions will run from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.
