Pittsburgh’s craft and home brewers alike who want to share their favorite beer, ale, stout or other libation with other “suds lovers” are welcome to be part of a celebration that helps companion animals.
Paws Across Pittsburgh will be the charity of choice for Brewing for a Cause 2025, which will have lots of libations on tap. It provides a time for the public to discover the beer making talent in their own home town, and Three Rivers Underground Brewers (TRUB), which is a group of home brewers, has organized the activity.
The attendees at the function will be able to choose from more than 100 options crafted by both home and commercial brewers, and ciders and meads will also be flowing. Many of the beverages will be prepared by award winners, and their offerings will be completely outside the box. Anyone who would like to purchase a bite to eat can do so at the Cold Friends Kitchen pop-up, and there are three ticket options available.
Fundraisers provide a way for businesses and clubs to give back to their home community, and breweries, wineries and other craft beverage makers may choose to prepare a special offering just for the occasion. Print shops that offer graphic designs services can prepare custom bottle labels and other branded materials for its customers.
Velum Fermentation, located at 2120 Jane Street in Pittsburgh on October 18th. Tickets start at $10.00.
