For many years, Sesame Street entertained kids before they started their schooldays. Some members of the cast of characters from this popular program will soon be hitting the road for a nationwide tour, and a stop has been planned for Pittsburgh.
With the show beginning its 50th season later this year, Sesame Street Road Trip will be set up at Flagstaff Hill. Many of the activities that have been set up are meant to be explored through hands-on play. Signs can be placed throughout the museum so that the attendees can navigate their way through the displays at events like this, and these can readily be obtained from area printing service company.
The whole family can get in on the fun of the occasion. There will be a giant maze, a treasure dig and stage have all been planned, and when it comes to snack time, the attendees can visit the cookies and milk station. The parents and caregivers who participate along with their child(ren) may wish to bring along a camera to capture photos of the day, and the whole event is free to enter.
Big Bird, Ernie and Bert, and perhaps even Oscar the Grouch will be taking to the stage on June 15 for their part in the show. It will be presented to the public at Flagstaff Hill.
