Pittsburgh plans forest bathing experience

Young adults in need of a break from the hectic pace of life are encouraged to be part of a Pittsburgh activity that will help them to relax, unwind, and connect with nature.

Forest bathing is a practice with roots in Japan, and it sees people take to the woods so they can experience the healing power of being in nature. A session has been planned for the blue slide playground area of Frick Park designed for those ages 18 to 26, or anyone who is currently attending classes at a post-secondary institution or technical school.

The event will be all inclusive, and all young adults are welcome. They will be encouraged to relax and become mindful of their natural surroundings, and they will also have a chance to meet others who share their interest. Those who plan on attending are encouraged to bring along their friends to help make for a good turnout

A forest bathing or other mindful activity gives participants a chance to unplug and unwind from the day-to-day pressures of life. A flyer printing company can craft marketing materials that are often highly effective in getting the word out about an activity.

Venture Outdoors has made plans to run this forest bathing session on Friday, March 24. Registration for the morning, which will begin at 9:00 am, is $5.
