Pittsburgh Pirates welcome their fans

PirateFest is returning to Pittsburgh for two days this September. It is presented by the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team.

The event will feature baseball clinics, games shows such as Card Sharks with Joe Klimchak and a Pirates player, prizes, and question and answer sessions. Guests can take part in the ‘Oh say can you sing’ competition, where the winner will have a chance to sing the Star Spangled Banner at a game. There is also set to be a pierogie eating contest and appearances from the Pirate Parrot. In addition there will be alumni photo sessions, a coach’s corner, and a kids only press conference.

Several current and former Pittsburgh Pirates, including Al Oliver, John Smiley, and Dave Parker will be signing autographs. These cost $20 for adults or free for children aged 14 and under, and the proceeds will go towards various Pirates charities.

Guests who bring a new toy donation will receive a Pirates ornament while they last.

To advertise this Pittsburgh event, it is likely that organizers have invested in services such as poster printing. These Posters can then be distributed to public buildings all over the area.

PirateFest will take place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center from December 13 to 14. Admission is free. To find out more about this event, visit the Pittsburgh Pirates official website.
