A weekend of races is on the agenda for Pittsburgh, and the whole city is invited to get involved in the fun.
One of the events included in the schedule for the two-day celebration will give pets a way to get involved, and all well-behaved animal companions can join in the fun.
The Pittsburgh Pet Walk will give Fido, Fluffy or Polly a chance to strut their stuff , and while they enjoy spending time with their human friend in the fresh air, they will be lending a hand to some animals that may not be as fortunate as they are. The proceeds from the activity will donated to humane animal rescues.
This fundraiser will be taking place in point State Park, and the registration fee is $20. The animals must be kept leashed and under control at all times, and several prizes will be awarded. Corporate Gifts such as bandanas, doggie T-Shirts, and other pet-friendly prizes can be crafted to offer as prizes for a community function like this, offering a fun souvenir for both the pet and their human friend to receive.
