Pittsburgh party to raise money for senior pooches

The Halloween season can be a perfect time for a party, and one of these events on the way to Pittsburgh will benefit the animals at Among the Wildflowers Sanctuary.

The charity, which provides a forever home to senior dogs, will be the host for a vegan celebration that will be filled with seasonal fun. It has a scheduled run time of four hours, and admission to the family-friendly celebration will be free of charge.

The attendees at the celebration will be able to enjoy an assortment of games as well as live performances of music and dance, and both vegans and non-vegans are welcome. Food will be available for anyone who would like to purchase a bite to eat, and everyone can support their small business community by shopping at the vendor booths. While the function will raise money for a canine sanctuary, dogs are not permitted on site, except for registered service animals.

Many pet-related not-for-profit groups choose to sell merchandise printed with its Logo Design as fundraising items. These range from dog collars and pooch bandanas to portable water bowls, and Print shops will have a variety of other ideas as well.

This vegan Halloween Party will be celebrating the season on Sunday, October 16, beginning at 4:00 pm. It is scheduled for 730 Brookline Boulevard.
