The 5th annual Costumes for a Cause fashion event will take place next month in Pittsburgh.
The evening is a fundraiser for the Go Red for Women campaign of the American Heart Association Pittsburgh, and is presented by Michele Garris and the Pure Skin Care Centre Pittsburgh.
The evening will be emceed by Frank Murgia. It will start off with a cocktail party where guests can enjoy hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and dessert. It will be followed by a fashion show set to feature 25 models showing off some high-fashion costumes.
During the event, there will also be a silent auction and raffles. Prizes that will be up for bidding include $100 to $300 Gift Certificates, Victoria’s Secret makeup kits and Halloween costumes.
The Go Red campaign of the American Heart Association helps to raise funds for research into and awareness of heart disease in women.
It is likely that those who have donated items for the silent auction and sponsors will be recognized on signage at the event, which will likely be provided by a Pittsburgh Stationery printing company.
Costumes for a Cause will be held at Hotel Monaco on September 30 from 7:30 to 10:00 PM. Tickets are $50, which includes one cocktail, and admission is restricted to those aged 21 and over. To get the latest information about this event, visit the official website.
