Many of Pittsburgh’s beer fans have their favorite “go to” brew, but with so many new craft breweries having opened their doors in recent years, the range of choices when it comes to local beer has really grown. A curated group of five of these will be showcasing their creations in an upcoming fundraiser, and it’s on tap for this August.
Those who participate in the eighth annual Craft Beer University will have a chance to both add to their knowledge about beers, ales and other similar beverages, tasting samples as they go. While they enjoy the drinks, food and companionship they can also feel good knowing that they are helping local special needs kids, as the proceeds will be used in support of Camp AIM.
Five breweries from the Pittsburgh area will be showcasing their creations during the event, and the guests will learn a little bit about each of these libations as well as the brewer that crafted them. Cefalo’s will be supplying an assortment of nibbles to pair with the beers, and the whole occasion will offer a vibe that is both friendly and relaxing.
Those who attend an event like this are often very interested in sampling beers produced in their own home area. Offering the tasting glasses or growlers that have been printed with the event’s Logo Design can be a great way to cap off the celebration.
