Many people will have their usual “go to” slice of pizza, but a Pittsburgh festival will be showing just how many ways this popular dish can be prepared.
The Pennsylvania Market will be hosting the 2019 Pizzafest, and it will feature “everything pizza.” Many of the city’s eateries will be preparing artisan-style versions of the Italian dish, and sampling slices served fresh from the oven will be the order of the day.
Along with the different pizza recipes, those in attendance can enjoy trying out different wines, craft beers and cocktails to wash it down with, and enjoy the live entertainment supplied by area bands. Those who feel they are really in the know when it comes to this savory meal can try test their skills in the Pizza Trivia challenge, all while enjoying an evening with good friends.
Ticket prices for this year’s Pizzafest start at $25, and they can be purchased both in advance or at the door. Beer Mugs and other Drinkware can be printed with the Logo Design of an event like this, and can be given to ticket holders as a souvenir of their experience.
This salute to one of America’s most popular comfort foods has been planned for June 23. The fun is set to kick off at 6:00 pm.
