Pittsburgh festival to celebrate goats

A free celebration will soon be taking place in Pittsburgh, and it will give everyone insight into some local four-legged environmental stewardship.

The community will be hosting Goat Fest at the Arlington Ball Field, and a shuttle service will ferry attendees from the designated parking area to the event. It will work to raise both funds and awareness about grassroots environmental projects, and the list of activities that will be part of the day is quite extensive.

The function will boast games for the young and old alike, and there will be an artisan market as well as food trucks, a petting zoo, face painters, a live show, inflatables, and a tree planting. Bonsai tree kits will be on offer, and everyone who prepares a planting will be able to take it home.

Along with all the rest of the fun, the activity will introduce the public to the team of goats that help to control invasive plants. These four-legged volunteers will demonstrate how effective they are at keeping unwanted species at bay. Vehicles can be parked at 21st Street and Josephine. Signage for such an event can be prepared by area banner printing companies, and these will make it easier for attendees to locate a particular function.

Pittsburgh’s 2023 Goat Fest will bring the fun to the city on July 29th. It will begin welcoming the public at 1:00 pm.
