Pittsburgh felines to benefit from bingo fundraiser

The life of a feral or stray cat can be difficult, but thanks to the efforts of a local organization, the public in Pittsburgh will be able to offer them a helping hand - and have fun doing so.

Kitty Queen Cat Rescue has set the date for its Kitty Bingo fundraiser, and the doors will open 25 minutes ahead of the first ball drop. This way, everyone can get settled in and enjoy meeting the other players before the fun begins.

The Kitty Cafe will be open, and anyone who would like to buy a drink or some snacks may do so. The attendees may also bring a drink of their own if they wish. The proceeds will be used to help support the group's efforts to help homeless cats.

Grassroots level organizations may help fill holes in the social safety net. A poster printing company will be happy to help by preparing attention-grabbing marketing materials.

Kitty Queen Rescue’s Kitty Bingo fundraiser, hosted by Karla and Barb, will take place on March 7. It will be held at 4552 McKnight Road.

Admission is $25.00, and this amount covers the entry fee as well as a set of cards. Additional cards may be purchased ahead of time during the event, and bingo daubers will also be available.

The first ball will drop at 7:30 pm.
