Pittsburgh conference to look into lead

Anyone who is concerned about the issue of lead in the community, and the effects in can have on the developing brain and nervous system of children, may wish to save the date for an upcoming Pittsburgh conference that will address this topic from a variety of perspectives.

During the Creating Healthy Communities: Get the Lead Out symposium, a diverse group of presenters will be sharing their views on the topic of lead exposure in schools, homes and early learning centers along with ideas on how this risk can be minimized. It will include interactive sessions where groups will discuss viable solutions to this issue. Printed products such as Presentation Folders, Brochures, and promotional Pens for an occasion like this can be provided by a local printer.

At least 11 speakers have been engaged for the conference, and more details will be shared as the date for the event draws closer. Those who would like to attend and who need childcare to be able to do so have been offered the opportunity to access free services from Flexable childcare. Anyone who would like to take advantage of this has been asked to register their child ahead of time.

The conference will be taking place on May 10th in Pittsburgh’s Westin Convention Center, which is located at 1000 Penn Avenue. Anyone with questions or who would like further details has been asked to contact the organizer through the event’s online listing.
