Pittsburgh celebration go back a century

The National Kidney Foundation has invited one and all to take a step back in time during an evening that will have a theme straight from the Roaring ‘20s.

This Pittsburgh evening will celebrate those who have chosen to become organ donors, as well as the volunteers, researchers, medical professionals and others who help those living with kidney disease. It will offer the feel of an authentic speakeasy, and the attendees will be treated to a sumptuous menu and lots of other fun.

The evening will open with passed appetizers and other light refreshments, and after this, the guests are invited to take their seat for the plated meal. The attendees can enjoy a drink from the open bar, and a photo booth and silent auction will round out the occasion.

The National Kidney Foundation, which is the host of the festivities, explained that volunteers are an essential part of the celebration, and the public is encouraged to check out the opportunities available during the function. A printing services provider can prepare uniforms and other gear for those who lend a hand during an evening like this, as well as Corporate Gifts that can be given to each to thank them for their support and assistance.

The Heinz Field West Club Lounge will be transformed into a 1920s-style speakeasy for this celebration, which will welcoming guests on March 7. The National Kidney Foundation has created a website for those who would like further details.
