A plant-filled fundraiser is set to bring the fun to the Pittsburgh area, and the schedule for the celebration runs for two days.
The Verona Garden Club recently announced that it will soon be welcoming the return of what’s been described as the fastest-growing spring festival in the Pittsburgh area. Both days will offer a unique line-up of fun, and while admission is free, those who would like to participate in the beer tasting will need to purchase a brewery flight passport.
The plans for the weekend include live performances by local bands and other entertainers, and craft breweries will be strutting their stuff as well. One of Verona Garden Club’s contributions to the affair will be its annual plant sale, and a variety of area crafters, makers and other vendors have been invited to participate. Food trucks will be parked at the venue, serving up snacks and meals, and a portion of the monies raised will be utilized by the Garden Club to plant gardens and educate the public.
Organizing an outdoor springtime festival usually requires taking the weather into account. A banner printing company will be able to offer printed materials that may be used indoors or out, even withstanding the rain.
The Botany and Booze springtime festival will be greeting the arrival of the season on May 21 and May 22. The venue will be located at 737 East Railroad Avenue in Verona.
