Jazz festival swings back to Pittsburgh this summer

The Pittsburgh Jazzlive International Festival is taking place in Pittsburgh in about a month’s time. This popular annual event is presented by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and attracts approximately 20,000 visitors each year.

More than 240 musicians from all over the world are expected to appear at the festival. This year's headline act is Diana Reeves and another of the top performing acts will be Big Sam's Funky Nation. There will be concerts (many of which are free), a jazz crawl, jam sessions, and two marketplaces.

Shoppers will be able to pick up African-American designed arts and crafts at Showcase Noir, and the Night Market will be selling music, food, Books, and artworks. Another treat for visitors will be the appearance of a pop-up record store, to be called Trust Vinyl.

To advertise festivals such as this, organizers usually have Posters, Signs, and Banners produced to help spread the word. Pittsburgh Stationery printers are often contacted by promoters of such events to provide these marketing materials.

The festival will take place at various venues in the Cultural District from June 20 to 22. Admission for most events is free, but tickets for Big Sam's Funky Nation to be held on June 21 are $15 in advance or $17 at the door. To find out more about the festival, visit the official website.
