Fundraising event to benefit homeless children

The 17th annual Champions for Children benefit gala is taking place next month in Pittsburgh. It is a fundraiser for the Homeless Children's Education Fund.

Presenting a networking opportunity for business leaders, community activists, and the general public to form connections with one another, guests will be able to bid on silent auction items while they listen to live music.

This year, Andy and Cindy Russell will be honored for their work with homeless children. In addition, awards will be handed out to Liz Miller and Dr. Erik Garrett.

There are sponsorships available for this event, which range in price from $2,500 up to $20,000. Auction items can also be donated. Local businesses can also purchase advertisements in the event program, with fees raning from $100 to $1,000.

The Homeless Children's Education Fund provides many different programs and services. These include learning centers, field trip grants, backpack distribution, and scholarships. Pittsburgh brochure printing companies are likely to provide the event program that everyone attending will receive.

The Champions for Children benefit will be held at the Priory Hotel on March 7 from 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Tickets are $100, $50 for young professionals, and $300 for VIP. Contact Monica Hershberger at 412-562-0154 x201 to find out how to become a sponsor or donate an item to the auction.
