Annual conference brings nonprofits together

The Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber is presenting its 3rd annual NonProfit Conference later this month.

The conference is designed to bring together those who work for nonprofit organizations and give them some skills to ensure success. There will be panel discussions on topics like collaboration, breakout sessions on strategic planning, and advice on how to apply for and receive grants from corporations and a vendor showcase. The day will also include lunch, a keynote address, and networking opportunities.

Vendor tables are available for $50 for nonprofit chamber members, $100 for nonmember nonprofits, $100 for corporate chamber members, and $150 for nonmember companies. The tradeshow portion of the conference will give local businesses and organizations an opportunity to make themselves known to their peers and possibly forge new collaborations.

Most of those planning to attend this annual Pittsburgh area event are likely to be placing a new business card printing order in advance. They will want to make sure that all of their contact information is current and correct and that they have enough cards to exchange with everyone they meet on the day.

The NonProfit Conference is taking place at The Chadwick in Wexford on July 29 from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm. Tickets are $35 for Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber members or $45 for nonmembers. Call 724-934-9700 for more information.
