The annual exhibit known as ZooLights is back and open for adults and children to enjoy all through December and a little beyond.
This year, the exhibit in Portland contains over 1.5 million colored lights that, in addition to celebrating the holidays, also provides a nostalgic look back at familiar Oregon sights. One such new addition is a scaled-down replica of the well-known Portland, Oregon sign of Old Town. The same company that made the original also made the smaller version at ZooLights.
A banner printing service is handy for reminding the public of an event and the dates it will take place, as well as helping those unfamiliar with the area recognize the event venue when they find it.
Just as it was in 2020, visitors will have two options for viewing the lights – they can go through by car or by foot. Those on foot who are five years old or older will be required to wear a mask and will follow a one-way path through the zoo. Those driving will not have to wear a mask except when checking in.
The number of attendees will be limited and visitors will have to reserve tickets prior to arriving. The safety theme adopted by the zoo includes keeping indoor areas closed and only conducting cashless transactions.
ZooLight will continue throughout December through January 9, 2022.
