Pedalpalooza is taking place for the entire month of June in Portland.
Over 100 free and paid events will be held at various venues in Portland and surrounding communities. It is open to bicycle riders of all skill levels; some events are adult only and some will include the family pet.
The festival will kick off with a ride beginning at Sewallcrest Park on June 1 at 6:00 PM. The next day is the MTB Festival hosted by the Northwest Trail Alliance at Gateway Green from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. There will be trail rides, bike demonstrations, coaching sessions, food and drink for purchase, and loaner bicycles. Children will also receive free T-Shirts and helmets while supplies last.
There will be various breakfasts, lunches, and mystery rides. There is set to be bike tag, bike polo, and bike wash events. An event for those over 21 is the 6th annual Karaoke in the Park at Holladay Park on June 4. Other events will include The Thirsty Games in Oregon Park with beer and trophies, and Foosballooza, which starts off at Clinton Park.
Organizers may invest in products from a Portland poster printing firm to help spread the word in the community.
