Pumpkin Patch Corn Maize to open in September

Located 13 miles from downtown Portland, the Manhattan-size Sauvie Island is a rural autumn entertainment experience featuring various fun activities.

Based north of Portland on one the country’s largest river islands, families can enjoy swimming, birding, hiking and a variety of fun seasonal activities. Among the seasonal activities exclusive to autumn is the opportunity to navigate through the Pumpkin Patch Farm’s latest Corn Maize, go on a hay ride, and search for that perfect pumpkin in the patch. For those who prefer less strenuous fun, there is always the gift shop and café.

Brochure printing services offer a way for potential customers to see what an attraction holds before going.

The eight-acre Corn Maize sports a different complex pattern each year. Observation bridges provide visitors with not only an overview of the maze and perhaps a heads up on how to navigate it, but also picturesque views of the island and a distant Mount Hood.

This year, the Corn Maize will be open September 3 to October 31. During Sunday through Thursday the farm is open 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, while Friday and Saturday opening times are 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. In October, the maze will remain open on Fridays and Saturdays until 10:00 pm, plus, select days prior to Halloween.

The price for admission to the maze is $8 for adults and over-13s. Seniors as well as children ages 6-12 are $6. Children under six can enter for free.
