Hope Reigns, this year’s festival theme, will mean keeping the long-standing tradition of the Rose Festival alive, while looking ahead to a ramped up 2022 festival. As Portland Rose Festival Foundation CEO Jeff Curtis explained.
"Oregon is not quite ready yet for big outdoor events. The health and safety of our community is still our top priority as we plan for a Rose Festival season to engage and inspire the community once again this year."
Poster printing services can be invaluable to communities hosting events.
The scaled-down version of the festival includes limiting in-person events and hosting virtual events. So far this is the scheduled events for the 2021 festival.
The Rose Festival Honors, a fundraising luncheon that zeros in on the power of women helping women and the positive and powerful impact of mentorship, will take place May 6. The Porch Parade, which was held for the first-time last year, will be back on May 31 with homes, porches and yards decked out in festive trimmings.
The following month, starting June 9, Virtual Fleet Week will once again be held, followed by the 2021 Rose Festival Queen coronation ceremony that will be held outdoors on June 18.
