One of the original owners of the southeast Portland eatery anticipates having the venue in operation again the first week in June in the same location. Situated at 1429 S.E. 37th Avenue, the casual Italian restaurant was founded in 1994 by Kathy Bergin and Dave Marth and named for its location three doors down from Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard.
Promoting an opening or reopening as well as signage and Menus are among the uses for printing services by restaurateurs.
In 2019, Bergin and Marth sold the restaurant to Jeff Saulsbury and Michael Galloway, who then closed it abruptly in November of last year. Commenting on his return to his old stomping grounds and enterprise, Marth told The Oregonian/OregonLive:
“We’re looking forward to being back in the neighborhood again.”
The updated version of 3 Doors Down will be bringing along its classic menu items such as the tasty vodka sauce it was famous for and its popular cocktails. The opening will also usher in the return of old favorites missing from the menu for several years such as some pork dishes and a number of pasta dishes as well as the addition of a few new items.
